Carla Neal Haley, MD
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Neal -Haley is a native of Washington, D.C. She was born into a family of educators and chose a career as a lifelong student when she became a physician in 1986. She is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at The Detroit Medical Center and the Children's Hospital of Michigan in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She practices in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia and is the Chief of Medicine at a local community hospital.
Dr. Neal-Haley serves as a member-at-large on the Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Executive Committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is the leader of the practice work group for that committee. The practice work group's current initiative is to support community physicians in their day-to-day practice of medicine, including maximizing CME opportunities and coordinating support groups.
Dr. Neal-Haley is a frequent speaker at the national meetings of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians -American Board of Internal Medicine..
She has been a medical liaison for local news programs and "Connecting with Kids".
Dr, Neal-Haley is married to a physician and has three children.
