Yes, in order to gain access to the exams, you must be a registered subscriber which gives you access to the course and post test for CME credit.

What happens if I accidentally enter the wrong answer? Will I be given a chance to review all my answers before submitting them?
You will be given 2 opportunities to change your answers prior to completing your exam. You can review and change all answers by selecting "Test Question List." Once all answers have been submitted, you cannot change your answers.

Do I have to answer the questions in order?
No. All questions will be available at all times until you click "End Test." You can tell from the color of the link which questions have been answered.

Is there any time limit for taking the test?
No, you may take as much time you need to finish the exam. However, because of the instability of some Internet service providers, we recommend finishing the exam at one sitting.

Do I need any special computer add-ons or memory requirements to take the test? What are the basic system requirements?
If you can access the Internet, you have the basic system requirements to take the test. Refer to our
system requirements for further details.

What is considered a passing grade?
You must answer 80% or more correctly to receive a passing grade. Incomplete exams will not receive any credit.

What happens if I disagree with an answer in the test or feel that I was graded incorrectly?
If you disagree with an answer notify us by email admin-support@cme-tv.net within 30 days of taking the exam and our Education Department will address your questions. Please include a detailed description of the disputed question and supporting documentation for why you believe your answer is correct. Include the month of the test, the number of the question in dispute, and the answer you believe is correct and why. All decisions by the CME-TV, LLC are final.

If I fail the test, do I get another chance?
Yes, you will have three opportunities to complete and pass the post test.

How long do I have to wait until I know my test results?
After answering the CME Post-Test questions, you will be notified immediately whether or not you have passed and received detailed explanation of your answers.. Remember, answering 70 percent or greater correctly is considered a passing grade.

Do you keep a record of the tests I have taken? How do I prove I passed?
CME-TV maintains records of all exams taken by all participants. Subscribers testing records can be accessed through their "CME Tracker."

How do I get this certificate?
After you have successfully completed the test and post-test evaluation, a certificate including your name, the name of the test, the number of credits awarded, and the date of the award will be generated on-screen. A certificate will also be mailed.

What happens if I lose my certificate?
Once you have successfully completed a CME exam, the database will grant you access to receive a certificate You can obtain additional copies for a a nominal fee.

Why do I have to answer the CME Post-Test Evaluation questions?
The CME evaluation form is a requirement for ACCME accreditation and helps us continuously improve the CME testing exercise.
